The Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) said that a ship carrying 60,000 metric tons of coal will arrive at Norochcholai Power Plant today (1).
CEB Spokesperson Andrew Nawamuni said that the ship is arriving from South Africa.
Meanwhile, another ship carrying 60,000 metric tons of coal reached Sri Lanka recently.
Accordingly, 2.2 metric tons of coal are to be brought into Sri Lanka in the coming days.
