An extraordinary gazette has been issued appointing the Chairman and Commissioners of the Mediation Board Commission.
The Gazette No. 2304/14 has been published with the signature of the President’s Secretary as per the order of the President.
President Ranil Wickremesinghe has made the appointments with effect from October 22.
Retired Supreme Court Judge Hector Yapa has been appointed as the Chairman of the Commission while retired Supreme Court Judge Nimal Dissanayake, retired Court of Appeal Judge Chandradasa Nanayakkara, President’s Counsel Vivekananthan Puvitharan and J.W.S. Siriwardena have been appointed as other members.
