A special meeting of the Constitutional Council is scheduled to be held today (14) at 9.30 am at the Parliamentary complex under the chairmanship of Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena.
Meanwhile, the Parliament sessions will be held from July 18 to 21.
The regulations of the Customs Ordinance and the Import and Export Control Act are to be debated during the upcoming sessions.
Meanwhile, the debate on the Anti-Corruption Bill and the Assistance to and Protection of Victims of Crime and Witnesses Bill are also scheduled to be held.
The Communications Department of Parliament said that it is planned to hold the second reading debate of the Central Bank Bill and to approve the proposals under the Essential Public Services Act without a debate.
The debate on the second reading of the Banking (Special Provisions) Act will also be held in the coming week.
