The Talaimannar Police have launched an investigation into the incident where copper wires worth more than Rs.1.9 million have been stolen from the Thambapavani Power Plant’s warehouse.
The theft was committed by an unidentified group of people on the night of February 25 and the Electricity Superintendent has yesterday (27) lodged a complaint to the police in this regard.
No suspect has been arrested so far.
