A couple in their 20s has been arrested by police over filming and sharing phonographic content online to earn money.
The female had posed as a schoolgirl in these content, reports add.
A 29 year old male and 28 year old female, who are both graduates, are currently engaged and due to tie the knot next year, investigations have revealed.
Investigations have also revealed that they have earned around Rs. 100,000 in a month.
Their online account had around 4,400 subscribers with around 8.7 million views.
Police have also seized equipment, props and a computer used.
The duo was arrested after a tipoff received by the Kadugannawa police CI -Chaminda Gunaratne, stating that a couple is shooting pornographic content at a lodge in the Pilimathalawa area.
The couple has been produced before the Kandy Magistrate Courts and were released on strict bail conditions.
Kadugannawa police are conducting further investigations.
