A couple was arrested by the Kandana Police today (05 Feb.) over the death of a businessman whose body was found in a swimming pool last week.
The arrest was made based on a tip-off received by the OIC of the Kandana Police, Chief Inspector Gamini Herath.
The couple, aged 23 and 27, were identified as residents of Gothatuwa. Although it was earlier suspected that the couple had fled the country, he has now been revealed that their attempt to do so has failed.
