The Colombo High Court has ordered the freezing of two bank accounts belonging to former Deputy Minister Anupa Pasqual for a period of three months.
This action is in connection with an ongoing investigation under the Anti-Corruption Act.
The accounts, held at the Koggala and Matugama branches of a local bank, have been frozen following a request from the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption.
The commission is currently conducting an investigation into allegations against the former MP.
