Attanagalla Magistrate Manjula Karunaratne yesterday (03) issued a warrant to immediately arrest the OIC of Nawagamuwa Police, Chief Inspector Lionel Senaratne, and produced him in court.
The Magistrate issued the warrant since the Nawagamuwa OIC, who is the main suspect in two cases related to cattle theft, did not appear in court to give evidence.
The Magistrate issued warrants for the arrest of the OIC previously as well due to his failure to appear in court to give evidence.
