Customs seize electronics smuggled in from UAE!
The Customs had seized a consignment of illegally imported televisions and air conditioners from the United Arab Emirates declared as used electronics.
According to the Customs, 68 television sets, 77 air conditioners, used tires and other equipment were among the seized items.
Deputy Director of Customs R.S. Weerasiri said that the officials of the Central Goods Inspection Division of the Sri Lanka Customs seized the illegally imported items.
