The Attorney General has given an assurance in the Court of Appeal that former Attorney General Dappula de Livera will not be arrested over a statement he made in relation to the Easter Sunday terrorist attacks.
This assurance was given when a petition filed by former Attorney General Dappula De Livera seeking an order to prevent his arrest was taken up in court.
