The Colombo High Court today fixed a date for the hearing of a case filed by the Bribery Commission against three defendants including former minister Johnston Fernando.
When the case was taken up in the Colombo High Court today (20), Judge Navaratne Marasinghe concluded the pre-trial conference and fixed the date for the trial to be held on November 24.
The Bribery Commission filed the case against former Minister Fernando, former Sathosa Chairman Eraj Fernando and its former director Mohammad Zakir, accusing them of causing a loss to the government by deploying Sathosa employees in political activities.
