The Election Commission announced that postal voting for the local government elections will be held on February 22, 23 and 24.
Elections Commissioner General Saman Sri Ratnayake said the sealed packages containing postal ballots will be delivered to the Postal Department on February 15, while the official voting cards will be delivered on February 19.
The local government election is scheduled to be held on March 09, and the gazette notification in this regard was also issued recently.
