The ‘Sarvajana Balaya’ alliance signed nomination papers for the 2024 General Election at Mawbima Janatha Party (MJP) head office today (Oct. 10).
Accordingly, leader of the MJP, entrepreneur Dilith Jayaweera signed nominations to contest from Gampaha District.
Vice Chairman of the party Prof. Channa Jayasumana and Milan Jayathilake had also signed nomination papers.
The alliance also submitted nominations for the Colombo District.
Meanwhile, former MPs Shehan Semasinghe and Navin Dissanayake have announced that they will not contest the upcoming General Election.
