An agreement was reached today (May 27) to launch a new political movement called the ‘Sarvajana Balaya’.
Leader of the Mawbima Janatha Pakshaya, Businessman Dilith Jayaweera inked a policy agreement with several political groups.
MP Wimal Weerawansa for the National Freedom Front, D. V. D. Thilakasiri for the Democratic Leftist Front, MP Udaya Gammanpila for the Pivithuru Hela Urumaya, G. Weerasinghe for the Communist Party of Sri Lanka, and Gevindu Kumaratunga for the Yuthukama National Organization signed the agreement.
In addition, MP Channa Jayasumana signed the agreement on behalf of the Independent MPs Forum.
