A 41-year-old man named Weli Pare Dinuka, who was injured in a shooting incident at Weli Road, Thalawathugoda, has passed away.
Police said that two unknown men arrived on a motorcycle shot at the victim inside a house and fled at around 9.30 pm yesterday (20).
The victim died after being admitted to the Sri Jayawardenapura Hospital.
The Police Headquarters said that the Thalangama Police have launched investigations to arrest the suspects.
