Vehicles that have not obtained revenue licenses for five consecutive years will be blacklisted and removed from the information system of the Department of Motor Traffic, its Commissioner General Nishantha Anuruddha Weerasinghe said.
Although 8.3 million vehicles have currently been registered with the Department, only 6 million vehicles have been registered through the QR code system, he said.
