The Department of Motor Traffic (DMT) has reportedly decided to extend the validity of temporary driving licences to 02 years.
According to reports, temporary driving licences issued from next Monday will be eligible for the extended validity period and the DMT is said to be working on the Gazette notification in this regard.
It is reported that the decision has been taken to address the bulking up of temporary driving licences due to the shortage of printing cards.
