The members of the Elections Commission (EC) are scheduled to meet this morning to discuss matters related to the Local Government elections, Commissioner General Saman Sri Ratnayake said.
Meanwhile, EC Chairman Nimal Punchihewa said the date of the local government election will be decided after April 10.
He also said that there is a possibility of holding the postal voting prior to the 25th if necessary funds are provided before the 10th.
