Well-known economic expert Amal Sanderatne died after falling from the 7th floor of an apartment at Rosmead Place in Colombo, police said.
He was 47 years old.
Mr. Sanderathe was the founder and chief executive of the Frontier Research Institute, which conducts research on macroeconomics.
