The Ministry of Education says that according to the proposed education reforms, aesthetic subjects are essential to general education.
In a statement, the ministry pointed out that aesthetic subjects can be studied in primary, secondary and tertiary education.
The Education Ministry further revealed that students can sit for examinations on aesthetic subjects in the GCE Ordinary Level and GCE Advanced Levels examinations.
The ministry further notes that it is working to eliminate false views and assumptions made via various media related to aesthetic subjects.
