The Ministry of Education, Higher Education, and Vocational Education has announced plans to review education reform programs introduced over the past five years.
Ministry Secretary Nalaka Kaluwewa stated that while several committees and institutions, including the National Institute of Education (NIE), had proposed reforms, these initiatives had not been implemented.
Following the review, a new education reform proposal aligned with the current government’s policy will be introduced.
