Maharagama Police have arrested a female said to be the girlfriend of the shooter who gunned down notorious underworld figure – ‘Ganemulla Sanjeewa’.
She has been handed over to the Colombo Crimes Division (CCD) for further investigations.
Investigations have revealed that the gunman was planning to flee the country with his girlfriend after the murder.
