The funeral of Dr. A.T. Ariyaratne, the founder of the Sarvodaya Shramadana Movement of Sri Lanka, is to be held this Saturday (April 20).
Dr. Ariyaratne had passed away yesterday (16) at a private hospital in Colombo.
His remains are to be used at the Sarvodaya Headquarters in Moratuwa this afternoon until Saturday noon
Then the remains will be taken to the Independence Square, Colombo, before final rites are to be conducted with state honours.
