A 61-year-old Lithuanian National has drowned after falling from a jetty at the Galle Port.
When a vessel travelling from Singapore to Abu Dhabi, UAE arrived at the Galle Port to receive services, police said the victim fell into the sea while trying to disembark at the port’s jetty.
He was pronounced dead on admission to the Karapitiya Hospital.
