Free train travel pass for railway employees
The Ministry of Transport states that all railway employees are to be provided with a free train travel pass to be utilised between their area of residence and workplace.
A statement issued by the ministry said that Minister of Transport – Vijitha Herath has issued a directive in this regard.
The ministry further said it also intends to encourage all railway employees to improve their efficiency as it could benefit the nation’s economy.
