The fuel quota will be further increased next month following an evaluation, Power and Energy Minister Kanchana Wijesekera said.
He said the fuel cargo plan and supply for the next six months was reviewed with the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC).
“Fuel import plans, refinery operations, refinery upgrade proposals, QR quotas, storage capacity, stock automaton, agreements with fuel stations, distribution was reviewed and discussed,” he said in a tweet.
