Preference vote results of the Galle District have been released.
NPP’s Nalin Hewage has polled the highest number of preferential votes in the Galle District.
Former MP Gayantha Karunathilake has received the highest preferential votes from the SJB and secured its only seat while SLPP’s single seat for the district was secured by Chanaka Sampath.
