The Consumer Affairs Authority (CAA) has issued a gazette declaring new maximum retail prices (MRP) for eggs with effect from today.
Accordingly, the MRP for a white egg is Rs.44 while the price for one kilo of white eggs is Rs.880.
The MRP per brown egg is Rs.46 with the price for one kilo is Rs.920.
