The Government Medical Officers Association (GMOA) has requested the government to immediately present the tax revisions that are to be made upon the request of the professionals.
If the government fails to take a step regarding these tax amendments within the week starting today, GMOA Spokesperson Dr. Chamil Wijesinghe said that they will take a decision in the future.
He said that the relevant authorities have already been informed in writing regarding the tax amendments expected by the professionals.
