In the backdrop where the US has raised allegations against Indian billionaire Gautam Adani, Sri Lanka’s Cabinet spokesman – Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa today (Nov. 26) said that the Sri Lankan government is taking the matter seriously.
Speaking at the weekly cabinet briefing today (Nov. 26), he said that no cabinet decision had been taken so far regarding Adani’s projects in Sri Lanka.
He said that the government was reviewing Adani’s ongoing projects in Sri Lanka and that reports have been requested from the relevant ministries for further evaluation.
