The government has announced the suspension of meetings for statutory boards and other state institutions, with Prime Minister’s Secretary Pradeep Saputhanthri stating that no administrative decisions should be made during this period.
Some boards have already appointed new chairpersons, while others will see suitable appointments by the relevant ministers in the future.
