A new programme will be implemented to allow government employees to request for transfers to the nearest workplace, President’s Senior Advisor Akila Viraj Kariyawasam said.
The decision has been taken after considering the ongoing economic issues.
Mr. Kariyawasam said that he held several rounds of discussions with the relevant parties in this regard.
