All government Tamil medium schools in the Central and Uva Provinces will remain closed this Friday (Nov. 01) following the Deepavali holiday held tomorrow (Oct. 31).
However, these schools will function on Nov. 09 (Saturday) to cover this extra holiday, Zonal Education Directors state.
