The Working Committee of the United National Party has lifted the suspension imposed on Minister of Tourism – Harin Fernando and Minister of Labour – Manusha Nanayakkara.
The duo has also been reinstated as members of the UNP Working Committee.
The decision was taken during the meeting of the UNP Working Committee held under the patronage of President Ranil Wickremesinghe at the party headquarters Sirikotha.
Ministers Fernando and Nanayakkara were suspended from the party following their defection ahead of the 2020 General Election.
