The strike launched by 19 health sector unions came to an end today (March 19) at 7:00 a.m.
The unions began the strike yesterday (March18) at 7:00 a.m., protesting against the reduction of their allowances through the recent budget proposals.
As a result of the strike, patients across many hospitals islandwide faced severe difficulties.
The strike included 7 unions from the Joint Federation of Paramedic Professionals and 11 unions from the Joint Front of Paramedic Services.
