The Department of Meteorology has forecast increased evening thunderstorms over the next few days, starting tomorrow (April 01).
Areas in Central, Sabaragamuwa, Western, Southern, Uva, Kurunegala, and Polonnaruwa could experience rainfall exceeding 75mm, the depatment adds.
Misty conditions are expected in the mornings in several provinces, including Western, Central, and Uva.
The public is urged to take precautions against strong winds and lightning.
