Sri Lanka Customs has found 16 kilograms of heroin worth over Rs.500 million from a container filled with potatoes.
The heroin haul was found hidden in a refrigerator in the container imported from Pakistan based on information received by the Customs.
One person from the company that imported these potatoes has been arrested and further investigations are being conducted to find the others involved in the smuggling.
