Representatives from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) are set to meet Sri Lankan government officials today (October 2).
Mass Media Minister Vijitha Herath stated that these discussions will focus on how to proceed with IMF-related activities following the appointment of President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.
Minister Herath clarified that this meeting will not cover in-depth or strategic matters regarding the IMF agreement.
Strategic discussions involving the Central Bank Governor, Finance Ministry Secretary, and senior economic advisors are scheduled for later this month in New York.
