The visiting team from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), led by its Senior Mission Chief for Sri Lanka Peter Breuer, arrived in Sri Lanka to conduct the third review of Sri Lanka’s economic reform program supported by the IMF’s Extended Fund Facility (EFF).
The team, which arrived yesterday evening (Nov. 17), will remain in the country until November 23.
Upon successful completion of the review, the IMF is expected to release the next tranche of the bailout to Sri Lanka.
