The 2023 Spring Meetings in which the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank (WB) representatives will participate will commence today (10) in Washington DC, US.
State Minister of Finance Shehan Semasinghe said that he will participate in the series of meetings which will be held until April 16.
State Minister Semasinghe said that these meetings will be an opportunity to continue the progress made in relation to debt sustainability and economic recovery and also to improve cooperation with international partners.
He further said that bilateral discussions will also be held with the IMF officials regarding the future programmes of Sri Lanka.
