An Indian national has been arrested in the Batticaloa town for remaining in the country without a valid visa.
Officers attached to the Batticaloa Police Station have arrested the Indian national who was not in possession of valid a passport or a visa.
He is a 28-year-old individual.
The Indian national is scheduled to be produced before the Batticaloa Magistrate today.
