Sri Lanka Cricket Board has reportedly decided to inquire from the coaching staff and selection committee over yesterday’s (02) crushing defeat against India at the World Cup.
It is said that the basis of the selections made for the match and the poor performance of the players, are to be questioned.
Commentators have also pointed out that the selection of Dushan Hemantha after removing Dhananjaya de Silva, is questionable.
It is also reported that the SLC is not impressed with the selections of the committee led by Pramodya Wickramasinghe despite it being 02 years since the committee was appointed. This matter is to be taken up as well.
