The service of an intelligence police sergeant who was on duty at the Katana Police at the time of the Easter Sunday attacks on April 21, 2019, has been terminated under the instructions of the IGP for failing to perform duties.
An initial investigation was launched against the police sergeant and a chargesheet was issued under 12 charges of disciplinary violations.
Police said that the officer pleaded guilty to all the charges in the first instance.
