Japan’s Prime Minister to visit Sri Lanka for high-level talks

Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida is scheduled to visit Sri Lanka next week for a one-day official visit, according to diplomatic sources.

The Japanese Prime Minister, who is coming to India to participate in the G-20 Summit in New Delhi, is scheduled to visit Sri Lanka after that.

It is reported that the Japanese leader, one of Sri Lanka’s main development aid partners, will meet government officials led by the President to discuss the country’s debt restructuring and future investment opportunities.
