President Anura Kumara Dissanayake has appointed Senior Advocate J.M. Wijebandara as the new Director General Legal of the Presidential Secretariat. The appointment was formalized by Secretary to the President Dr. Nandika Sanath Kumanayake, according to the President’s Media Division.
Wijebandara, an alumnus of Ananda College, Colombo, holds a BA (Honours) from the University of Colombo and an LLB (Honours) from the Open University. He is also a former lecturer at the University of Colombo’s Faculty of Law.
