A meeting of the political party council of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) was held yesterday (May 09), led by former President Mahinda Rajapaksa at his official residence in Wijerama.
According to reports, Johnston Fernando was appointed as the chief of operations during the meeting, which was attended by the SLPP politburo.
