The National Building Research Organization (NBRO) has said that the Colombo – Kandy main road will not be closed today (May 28) from Lower Kadugannawa, as they are yet to reach a final decision regarding the operation to remove rock debris in the high-risk zones.
The NBRO said that attention will be drawn to an effective operation without any road closures and further discussions are underway.
