Kaduwela-Biyagama interchange closed until further notice
The Road Development Authority (RDA) has announced the temporary closure of the Kaduwela Interchange on the Southern Expressway. This decision was made due to the overflow of the Kelani River and subsequent flooding around the Kaduwela Interchange on the Biyagama road, following continuous heavy rains.
As a result, vehicles traveling from Kadawatha and exiting towards Kaduwela, as well as those entering towards Kadawatha, are unable to use the interchange.
