Vinayagamoorthy Muralitharan, alias Karuna Amman, appeared before the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) today to provide a statement.
After several hours of questioning, Karuna Amman left the CID premises this afternoon. Speaking to the media, he stated that he was questioned regarding the kidnapping of Vice-Chancellor Professor Sivasubramaniam Raveendranath.
