Nishantha Bandara Basnayake – the coordinating Secretary of former Minister Keheliya Rambukwella, has been remanded until June 03.
He was ordered to be remanded by Colombo Chief Magistrate Thanuja Lakmali yesterday (May 26) over the allegedly aiding and abetting the misappropriation of over Rs. 8 million in public funds during his time as Coordinating Secretary of the former Minister at the Ministry of Mass Media, Health and Environment.
